An annual AC tune-up is the single most cost-effective thing you can do for your HVAC system in the DFW Metroplex. With summer temperatures regularly exceeding 100°F in Arlington, Mansfield, and Fort Worth, a properly tuned system works smarter — not harder — reducing your electric bill and preventing mid-season breakdowns.

Our 21-point tune-up includes: thermostat calibration, refrigerant level check, evaporator and condenser coil inspection and cleaning, electrical connection tightening, capacitor and contactor testing, blower motor lubrication, condensate drain flush, and a full airflow measurement. We leave you with a written report and an honest assessment of your system's remaining useful life.

Comfort Club members receive their tune-up as part of their annual plan — Basic members get one tune-up per year; Comfort and Premium members get two. Non-members are always welcome too. Spring (March–May) is the best time to tune up before the DFW summer heat surge.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I get an AC tune-up in Texas?
Once a year minimum — ideally in the spring before the heavy cooling season begins. If you run your AC year-round (common in DFW), consider two tune-ups: one in spring and one in fall.
What does your 21-point AC tune-up include?
Thermostat calibration, refrigerant check, coil cleaning, electrical inspection, capacitor and contactor testing, blower motor lubrication, condensate drain flush, and airflow measurement — plus a written report.
Can a tune-up lower my electric bill?
Yes. A properly maintained system can be 10–15% more efficient than a neglected one. Clean coils and correct refrigerant charge are the two biggest efficiency factors.
Is a tune-up worth it on an older system?
Absolutely. For systems 10–15 years old, a tune-up helps identify failing components before they cause a breakdown — and helps you plan for replacement on your timeline, not the system's.
